HoR, National Assembly pass condolence resolution on late NC Leader Giri

KATHMANDU, August 22: Leader Pradeep Giri's condolence resolution was passed by the National Assembly and the House of Representatives (HoR).


The National Assembly has passed a condolence resolution expressing deep sorrow over the death of Congress leader and member of the House of Representatives Giri.

The meeting of the National Assembly held on Monday passed the condolence resolution paying tribute to the late Giri, a member of the House of Representatives who was also an ardent socialist thinker. On that occasion, a minute of silence was observed in his memory.


National Assembly chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina presented the condolence proposal for the late Giri in the National Assembly meeting and said, "I present the following written condolence proposal over the death of Honorable Pradeep Giri, a member of the House of Representatives." This meeting of the National Assembly expresses deep sorrow over the death of Member of the House of Representatives Pradeep Giri, who was born in Bastipur of Siraha district in the year 1949.


Similarly, the HoR also passed a condolence resolution on the death of Giri who passed away last Saturday at 9:30 PM while undergoing treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur.
