KATHMANDU, March 2: The second session of the House of Representatives today was postponed due to a lack of quorum.

HoR Speaker Agni Prasad Saokota announced the postponement of the session till 1:00 pm of March 4, citing the lack of a quorum. The session was put off in accordance with the Article 94 of the constitution.


The required quorum is 69 in the HoR to run the session, but only 65 lawmakers were present. Parbati DC Chaudhary apprised the Speaker about it.
