Humla schools supported

HUMLA, Sept 21: Two community schools in Kharpunath Rural Municipality, Humla district have received technical assistance from Good Neighbours International and Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre (KIRDRC), Nepal.

HUMLA, Sept 21: Two community schools in Kharpunath Rural Municipality, Humla district have received technical assistance from Good Neighbours International and Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre (KIRDRC), Nepal. 


Sita Secondary School and Malika Secondary School have obtained computers meant for their quality enhancement and motivate the students towards new technology under the Education Programme launched by KIRDRC with the financial support from Good Neighbours International. The computers and IT materials worth Rs 1 million were distributed to the two schools located in the central belt of the district.

Humla district coordinator of Good Neighbours International Man Kumar Rai said 10 computers and one projector to Malika Secondary School and eight computers and one projector were given Sita Secondary School. 


After receiving the materials, Principal of Sita Secondary School Junaraj Hamal thanked the organizations stating that the computers would be supportive to make the school IT-friendly. RSS
