Husband arrested in connection with wife's suicide case

BAITADI,  Oct 9: The police have arrested a husband in connection with the death of his wife at Melauli area of the district. 



Bijaya Nayak of Dwarika chowk of Melauli – 1 was arrested in accusation of murdering his wife, Kamala Nayak, who was found hanging on Friday inside her shop. 



Kamala's family members filed a complaint with the police that her death should not be treated as a suicide. They also accused Bijaya of thrashing his wife to death after which the police made the arrest, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Balanarsingh Rana, of the District Police Office, Baitadi. 



The wife's body has already been cremated following a postmortem examination. The police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine whether it is a murder case or a suicide. 



Meanwhile, a husband has murdered his wife in accusation of having an illicit affair with in-law at Barrachaur VDC located at the southern region of Parbat. 



Dev Bahadur Nepali murdered his wife Seti Nepali, 45, at Purnagaun of Barrachaur – 8. The police have taken into custody Dev Bahadur and his father Jale for investigation. 



Sita's body has been sent to Waling Primary Health Centre located in Syangja district for a postmortem examination, District Police Office, Parbat Chief, Shekhar Khanal said. RSS
