KATHMANDU, Oct 31: In the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, Nepal has opted to field first in their match against Malaysia.
After winning the toss, Malaysia decided to bat first and extended an invitation to Nepal to bowl. Nepal, fresh from an 8-wicket victory over Singapore in their previous match, aims to secure a spot in the semi-finals with a second consecutive win. Malaysia, on the other hand, faced a defeat against Oman in their opening match.
Malaysia set 166-run target for Nepal
The Nepali squad remains unchanged from their previous encounter with Singapore. Meanwhile, the Malaysian team has made two adjustments. Fitri Sam and Ainul Hafiz Yatim will take the field as the first-choice players, replacing Khizr Hayat and Rizwan Haider for this match.
