Ilam-2 by-election: UML candidate Nembang secures over 11,000 votes

KATHMANDU, April 29: CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang has solidified his lead by securing a commanding 11,009 votes in the latest vote tally, in the ongoing Ilam-2 by-election.

KATHMANDU, April 29: CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang has solidified his lead by securing a commanding 11,009 votes in the latest vote tally, in the ongoing Ilam-2 by-election.


Following him is Nepali Congress contender  Dambar Khadka, who has garnered 7,275 votes, trailing behind by a margin of 3,734 votes.

In third, independent candidate Dakendra Thegim has secured 5,869 votes, and Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Milan Limbu has got 1509 votes.
