KATHMANDU, Oct 16: People are paying their last tribute to culture expert and literary centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi at Kist Medical College, Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: People are paying their last tribute to culture expert and literary centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi at Kist Medical College, Kathmandu.


Centenarian Joshi passed away at the age of 103 while undergoing treatment at 7:09 AM on Sunday morning. He was undergoing treatment at Kist Medical College in Gwarko, Lalitpur. He was admitted to Kist Hospital on September 23 due to health problems.

Similarly, President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will be present to pay homage to the body of culture expert and literary centenarian Joshi.


Joshi's body will be kept in the same hospital for study according to his wish, Prof Dr Suraj Bajracharya, director of the hospital.
