Nation paying tribute to centenarian Joshi

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: The mortal remains of centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi have been kept at Kist Hospital for an hour for the general public to pay homage. Joshi's body was kept at the hospital from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM today.

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: The mortal remains of centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi have been kept at Kist Hospital for an hour for the general public to pay homage. Joshi's body was kept at the hospital from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM today.


Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan said that the body was injected with chemicals to save it from decomposition and is being kept at the hospital.

From 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM family members will carry out their rituals. Again from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the body will be kept at the hospital for paying tributes.


Likewise, it will be kept in Lalitpur Metropolis from 12:30 PM to 4 PM before the body will be handed over to Kist hospital itself.
