KATHMANDU, Nov 2: The visiting Indian President Pranab Mukherjee attended a reception hosted in his honor by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae in the Indian Embassy at Lainchaur today noon.
President Mukherjee arrived in Nepal today noon for a three-day state visit at the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
The reception was attended by Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun.
Also, present in the event were former Prime Ministers, former Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, leaders of various political parties, members of business community and senior media persons and eminent personalities.
Earlier, the Indian envoy and the staffers at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu had welcomed President Mukherjee at the embassy. RSS (Photos available)
