Indian President's visit proves Nepal's capability in providing security: Minister Khand

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Minister for Defense, Bal Krishna Khand, has stated that the successful visit of the Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, to Nepal has proved that Nepal is capable of providing security any VVIPs visiting Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Minister for Defense, Bal Krishna Khand, has stated that the successful visit of the Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, to Nepal has proved that Nepal is capable of providing security any VVIPs visiting Nepal. 



Talking to RSS here today, Minister Khand expressed his belief that the Indian President's successful visit has sent a positive message across the world about the security situation in Nepal. 



The Nepali Congress leader argued that the visit of the Indian Head of the State to Nepal has enabled an environment for mutual trust between Nepal and India and further contributed in warming the bilateral ties between the two countries. 



Stating that no stone was left unturned to ensure safety of the visiting Indian President, Minister Khand added, "We ensured that nothing was lacking in the security arrangement for the Indian President during his stay." 



Minister Khand was of the opinion that the recent visit of the Indian President has not only strengthened friendship and enhanced mutual goodwill between the two countries, but also opened the ways for future visits by VVIPs from other countries to Nepal. RSS
