KATHMANDU, Feb 20: International flights have been affected due to disruption in the internet network at the Immigration Department of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Hundreds of passengers were put in trouble on Monday when there was a problem with the internet at the immigration department of the airport.
Entry permit and departure permit processing has been affected for the past few hours due to the internet outage at the TIA.
According to Kamal Prasad Adhikari, Information Officer of the Immigration Department, the immigration service was stopped when there was an internet problem at the university.

He said, "It's not that our server is down, it's that there's a problem with the internet." The work will resume within a short period of time when the internet is restored.
