KATHMANDU, July 27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed optimism that the newly-opened Hilton Hotel in Kathmandu will boost foreign tourism.
At the inauguration of the Hilton Hotel in Naxal, Prime Minister Oli noted that this marks the first time an international chain hotel like Hilton has begun operations in Kathmandu and extended his best wishes for its success. "I am confident that the Hilton Hotel will make a significant contribution to the country’s tourism and hospitality sector," he said.

The Hilton Hotel, built by Shankar Group with an investment of Rs 8 billion, has 174 rooms and took seven years to complete. Hilton operates under 24 different brands and is present in 126 countries worldwide.
