KATHMANDU, May 12: Jazeera Airways is set to operate regular flights from June 12 at Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa. The airways will also launch the inaugural flight on May 16, the day set by the government for the inauguration.
NAC to operate regular flights from GBIA beginning June 12
According to the schedule made public by Jazeera Airways, which currently operates one flight daily in Kathmandu, the flight to Bhairahawa will depart from Doha, Qatar to Kuwait. Passengers who want to come directly to Bhairahawa from Qatar can also avail the service on this flight. The flight will have transit in Kuwait and later fly directly to GBIA in Bhairahawa.
Jazeera will conduct flights three days a week- Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. According to the airways, fully vaccinated passengers will be able to travel by showing their vaccination card. The passengers who have not been vaccinated will have to show a report of PCR test with negative result within 72 hours.
