Journalists asked to be enrolled in accident insurance scheme

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has urged all working and independent journalists to be enrolled in third-phase of accident insurance programme launched for them.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has urged all working and independent journalists to be enrolled in third-phase of accident insurance programme launched for them. 


Ministry for Communications and Information, Department of Information and FNJ have jointly launched the program.

The FNJ has requested member journalists of District, foundation and associate organizations to participate in the accident insurance program for fiscal year 2075/76 BS within December 1 after completing all necessary process. 


The government has set up accident insurance up to Rs 500,000 to journalists through Accident Insurance Directives, 2070 BS. The journalists should have identity card issued by the Department of Information and membership of FNJ to be enrolled in accident insurance scheme. RSS
