Jyoti Group donates Rs 20 million to fight COVID-19

KATHMANDU, June 3: Syakar Trading Pvt Ltd and Bhajuratna Trading Company under the Jyoti Group have donated as much as Rs 20 million to battle the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country.

KATHMANDU, June 3: Syakar Trading Pvt Ltd and Bhajuratna Trading Company under the Jyoti Group have donated as much as Rs 20 million to battle the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country. 


As an assistance, Jyoti Group donated Rs 1 million to the relief fund of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Also, they provided 25 oxygen cylinders worth Rs 522,000 to Creation Nepal, and five oxygen concentrators worth Rs 770,000 to Achham Hospital and Healthy Nation Foundation, respectively.

Similarly, Jyoti Group provided PAPR suits worth 500,000 to Gangalal Hospital, Rs 1.5 million for a German oxygen plant to National Business Initiative, and Rs 12.1 million for the purchase and shipping of an oxygen plant from French manufacturers, Novair, to be installed at TU Teaching Hospital.
