In the first out of two friendlies of the teams played at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Complex at Satdobato, forward Karki scored a six-minute double to complete her hat-trick before the hour mark.

However, Nepal was pegged back as captain Deki Lhazom pulled the game back on track in the 14th minute.

Captain Preeti restored Nepal’s two-goal parity in the 44th minute, while Karki added her personal second four minutes later.

Karki was still not done as she completed her hat-trick in the 54th minute of the match.

A goal in the 89th minute for Preeti, her double, sealed Nepal’s thrashing of Bhutan and ensured a convincing win for the team.

The second friendly match is scheduled to be held on December 25.
