BULBULE, Jan 22: The Karnali Province Development Council is holding its first meeting coming Friday.
The Council formed as per the provision set by the Kanali Province Planning Commission is discussing the draft of five-year periodic plan in the Province and collecting suggestions from the meeting, said member of Commission, Dr Dipendra Rokaya.

The draft of the periodic plan (2076/77-2080/81) has set the roadmap of Province development and prosperity. It is divided into 10 chapters. Suggestions and feedback will be sought from the local and Province levels, experts and stakeholders will be requested for the suggestions.
The Council is chaired by the Chief Minister while Minister for Financial Affairs and Planning is the vice chair, and ministers, vice chair of Province Planning Commission, leaders of the parliamentary parties at Province Assembly, chair of Province Assembly committees, Commission members, chiefs of district coordination committee, chiefs of municipalities, chairs of rural municipalities, five members nominated by the State government and joint secretaries of the State government are members.
The council meeting will be attended by a total of 120 officials including 11 experts and invitee members.
