Kathmandu Valley’s COVID-19 case tally surpasses 10,000 with 572 new cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 572 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, taking the Valley’s COVID-19 case tally to 10,012.

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 572 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, taking the Valley’s COVID-19 case tally to 10,012. 


According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 495 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu, 34 in Bhaktapur and 43 in Lalitpur were detected on Thursday.

Of the new cases, 183 are females and 389 are males.


The number of COVID-19 cases detected on Wednesday was 394 in Kathmandu, 36 in Bhaktapur and 34 in Lalitpur district.


Likewise, Nepal’s COVID-19 case tally surpassed 50,000 on Thursday.
