KATHMANDU, Aug 23: Advocate Khamma Bahadur Khati has been appointed the coordinator of the Nepali Congress’ central election committee.
Former prime minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed Khati to the post on Tuesday.
RPP forms central election committee
Khati, a former attorney general, has already served as the committee member. The post turned vacant after erstwhile coordinator and senior advocate Gopal Krishna Ghimire was elected the chairperson of Nepal Bar Association.
NC central office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel confirmed the appointment of Khati to the position.
