Congress claims a majority win

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Nepali Congress central election mobilization committee Coordinator Bal Krishna Khand has claimed that the NC will win a majority in the upcoming elections, as it is the party that has fielded the most number of candidates.

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Nepali Congress central election mobilization committee Coordinator Bal Krishna Khand has claimed that the NC will win a majority in the upcoming elections, as it is the party that has fielded the most number of candidates. 


Speaking at a programme organised to inaugurate the media centre established by the party in view of the elections here Wednesday, he said the NC which has fielded candidates in 154 of the total 165 HoR seats and 310 of the 330 state assembly seats will win 55 per cent in FPTP and 45 per cent seats in the PR election system.

He also said that the election was a kind of referendum between providing stability to democracy and to establishing a communist rule in the country. 


The NC will be establishing provincial media centres in all the 7 provinces in the next few days.
