KMC makes it mandatory for all public vehicles to operate from Gongabu Bus Park from June 16

KATHMANDU, June 2: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) will not allow public vehicles to operate from outside the bus park from June 16.

KATHMANDU, June 2: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) will not allow public vehicles to operate from outside the bus park from June 16. 


On Friday, KMC issued a notice asking to operate public vehicles only from the bus park.

The KMC made the decision after holding meetings with concerned stakeholders. Accordingly, the KMC has decided to implement the system that makes it mandatory for all public vehicles that operate on long, medium and short distances from within the Kathmandu metropolitan area outside the valley to leave only from the new bus park, Gongbu.


The metropolis has also made it clear that anyone who does not implement the decision will be dealt with according to the rules by the metropolitan police in coordination with the traffic police from June 16.
