KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has commenced the basement parking facility at the Dharahara tower, located in Kathmandu’s Sundhara.
KMC announced the opening of a 50,000 square feet parking area in the basement of Dharahara, which boasts a total parking space of 150,000 square feet. The parking facility, situated on the first floor of the three-tiered structure, is now accessible to the general public starting from Sunday.
KMC has not yet disclosed the details about the remaining two floors, as some preparatory work, including water removal and cleaning, is still pending, said a KMC official.
