KMC urges dance bars, musical evenings and night clubs to pay entertainment tax

KATHMANDU, July 9: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has urged dance bars, musical evening venues and nightclubs to pay their entertainment tax within 35 days.

KATHMANDU, July 9: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has urged dance bars, musical evening venues and nightclubs to pay their entertainment tax within 35 days.

The KMC in a notice stated that despite repeated written, phone and verbal reminders to pay the entertainment tax as per the rates set by the Bagmati Province Finance Act, 2080 BS, these businesses have neglected to do so.


KMC has also warned that if the tax is not paid within the stipulated time, action will be taken as per Section 21 of the Finance Act, 2080 BS.
