NEPALGUNJ, Dec 25: The Kohalpur-Chisapani road section has been blocked demanding compensation to the family of Ramesh Chand Thakuri who was killed in an accident on the road on Friday. Because of the refusal to give compensation to the family of Thakuri, a resident of Banke Baijnath Rural Municipality Ward No 4, who died on the spot after being hit by a bus on Friday afternoon, the road has been blocked.
As the road is blocked, traffic on the road has come to a grinding halt. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ain Bahadur Malla, chief of the Area Police Office, Kohalpur, the family members and relatives of the deceased have blocked the road. The bus owner is ready to pay Rs 500,000, saying he cannot pay more than that but the family of the deceased is not satisfied with the amount, so an agreement to unblock the road could not be reached.

Thakuri, who was the manager of Chetna Social Entrepreneurs Cooperative Society Ltd Service Center, and was riding the motorcycle when he was hit by the bus.
