Kohalpur in shock after revelation that elder brother was behind killing of his younger brother, his wife

KOHALPUR, July 29:  Krishna Kumar Gadia, 25 and his wife Anjali, 23 were found dead in Kohalpur Municipality-14 of Banke on Tuesday Morning.  


Ramsohan Khatik, a local resident, said that the news of the murder has created fear and panic in everyone in the village. “After the news about this incident came to the public, the entire village was in a panic,” he said. “Many people in the village are worried after this incident.”

Local residents are now outraged after police investigation showed that Krishna's own brother Vijay Kumar and his wife Rekha were behind the heinous murder. 


The deceased couple was cremated on Thursday. The couple got married only a year ago.


Anita Paudel, another local resident, said that this crime was committed in greed for money and other assets from their own brother. This has not only created fear and panic, but also spread negative messages in society. 


DSP Ain Bahadur Malla at Area Police Office, Kohalpur, said that there was involvement of two other people Rajan Sonkar, 19 from Nepalgung, Sub-Metropolis- 19 and Sakil Ali, 26 from Lagdahawa, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis- 18 in Banke district in the murder. The accused persons have confessed the crime to the police.
