BIRATNAGAR, Sept 10: The Koshi Province government has issued a budget ordinance today.
After being re-appointed as the chief minister (CM) of the province, Hikmat Kumar Karki made a decision from the first meeting and introduced the ordinance today.

The Koshi Province Financial Ordinance and the Koshi Province Allocation Ordinance recommended by the government were issued by the Province Chief Parshuram Khapung.
CM Karki assumed office on Friday evening. He had decided to introduce the ordinance from the meeting of the same day.
Earlier, the budget ordinance brought by the Karki-led government on June 15 lapsed on August 27.
Due to the ordinance being lapsed, the province’s budget had reached zero. However, with the re-issuance of the ordinance, the zero-budget situations have been resolved.
