KP Oli elected HoR member; secures 52,315 votes in a landslide victory

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: CPN-UML leader KP Oli has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-5, securing 52,315 votes in a landslide victory.

Oli defeated Nepali Congress candidate Khagendra Adhikari, his nearest contender,  by a wide margin of 28,574 votes. Adhikari garnered 23,741 votes.
