Kunwar elected president of JTUCC

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Yogendra Kumar Kunwar has been elected the president of the Joint Trade Union Coordination Center (JTUCC).

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Yogendra Kumar Kunwar has been elected the president of the Joint Trade Union Coordination Center (JTUCC). The 6th national trade union congress of the JTUCC held on December 30 and 31 elected Kunwar to the post of National President of JTUCC for a one-year term. Kunwar is also the president of Nepal Trade Union Congress.


Similarly, Lal Kumar Lama has been elected the general secretary and Bishnu Thapa Magar the woman coordinator of JTUCC.

Ten recognized trade union federations are affiliated to the JTUCC in Nepal at present. Separate trade union organizations have been taking the presidency of the JTUCC on a rotational basis every year.
