KATHMANDU, Nov 29: CPN-UML leader Lal babu Pandit has announced resignation from all executive positions he held in the party.
Pandit was nominated for the position of the party’s central committee member by chairman KP Sharma Oli in the party’s 10th General Convention that is currently underway in Chitwan.

While declining the offer, Pandit announced through a facebook post that he will resign from all the executive posts. He also extended best wishes to all the newly-elected leaders although the general convention is still underway.
“Resigning from all executive posts of the party, I express my best wishes for a successful tenure to all the victorious comrades from the general convention of the party,” Pandit wrote on his Facebook post.
