Lawmakers close to Oli-faction set to meet Monday morning

KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Prime Minister K P Oli has called a meeting of lawmakers of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) close to him on Monday.

The meeting scheduled to be held at the prime minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Monday morning is expected to forge strategies of the establishment faction of the ruling NCP.  The meeting will be attended by lawmakers of both the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly (NA), according to sources close to Baluwatar. 


Meanwhile, a meeting of the lawmakers close to the NCP’s rival faction led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal is also scheduled to hold a meeting for Monday itself.
