Let us play our role honestly to materialize martyrs' dream: President Bhandari

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that it would be true tribute towards martyrs only if 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' was materialised in social, economic and cultural manner based on social justice and equality by protecting achievements gained from people's struggle.

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that it would be true tribute towards martyrs only if 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' was materialised in social, economic and cultural manner based on social justice and equality by protecting achievements gained from people's struggle.


In a message today on the occasion of Martyrs' Day-2076, President Bhandari expressed the belief that the Martyrs' Day would further be meaningful if all from their respective sides played their role with honesty to materialize martyrs' dream.

Recalling that the Martyrs' Day is being observed by organising various constructive programmes as the respect towards martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation and the people, she said that federal democratic republic has been established in the country as the result of sacrifice of the martyrs.


President Bhandari extended tribute towards martyrs who sacrificed their valuable lives for nationality, democracy, freedom and equality, reads the message.
