Lightning leaves one dead in Nepalgunj

KOHALPUR, May 10: One woman was killed after being struck by lightning that occurred at 6 am on Wednesday morning in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.

KOHALPUR, May 10: One woman was killed after being struck by lightning that occurred at 6 am on Wednesday morning in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.


The deceased has been identified as Kamala Raut, 27, a local of  Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.

After sustaining serious injuries, Rawat was rushed to Kohalpur-based Medical College.


She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the hospital.


She was struck by lightning accompanied by rain while she was sleeping at her house, Area Police Office, Kohalpur told  Republica Online.
