KATHMANDU, March 29: Tired of the long walk and street protests, the victims of loan sharks have started falling ill. Due to deteriorated health, they have also moved the talks with the government to Thursday.
Sangharsh Dahal, the leader of the Struggle Committee, said that more than 55 of the 73 people who came to Kathmandu on foot after walking for 12 days have not been well since Tuesday night.

"We checked the pressure and got everyone's blood samples,” Dahal said, "The coordinator of the Struggle Committee, Manoj Paswan, is also unwell, so the detailed discussion on the agenda for talks with the government has not been possible."
Dahal said that due to the coordinator’s illness, he called the government negotiation team on Wednesday morning and informed that the talks should be held only on Thursday.
“Currently, there are 115 of us who are suffering from loan sharks out of which most of them who came to Kathmandu on foot fell ill," said Dahal.
Dahal said that although they held sit-ins at Tangal, Bhadrakali, Maitighar and Baneshwar since Tuesday morning, the protest program was not fixed for Wednesday. He also said that after some time they will discuss again and continue the movement.
