KATHMANDU, August 23: The newly-appointed Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC is currently taking a vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly.


Despite the obstruction posed by lawmakers belonging to the main opposition party, CPN-UML, at the Provincial Assembly meeting, the trust vote is currently underway in the Province Assembly meeting..

Sources said the Provincial Assembly Speaker is preparing to use marshals if the opposition party posed further obstruction to the process. It is said that KC is likely to win the trust vote.
