DANG, June 14: Lumbini Province’s State Minister for Health Bimala Wali has been found assaulting a woman. It has been revealed that Wali assaulted Mina Bhandari, wife of Ekraj Basnet of Tulsipur after questioning her where her husband was.
Minister Wali reached Bhandari’s residence early today and questioned her about her husband's whereabouts. She then slapped Mina Bhandari and her daughter, as per the preliminary investigation of the police.

Currently, Police are questioning both sides in this regard.
Meanwhile, the victim is preparing to file a case against Minister Wali.
According to the province’s Health Minister Inderjit Chaudhary, the government will investigate the incident. ‘What happened? What was the reason? The government should and will investigate the matter," said Minister Chaudhary.
Wali is also a member of parliament from CPN (Maoist Center).
