Lungeli appointed as Minister for Labor and Transport in Madhesh province govt

KATHMANDU, April 25: Bechi Lungeli, previously a minister without portfolio from the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party, has officially taken charge of the Ministry of Labor and Transport in Madhesh Province.

KATHMANDU, April 25: Bechi Lungeli, previously a minister without portfolio from the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party, has officially taken charge of the Ministry of Labor and Transport in Madhesh Province.


The appointment follows the recent vote of confidence secured by Saroj Kumar Yadav, who has begun his fourth term as Chief Minister of Madhesh Province.

On April 18, CM Yadav expanded his cabinet, which included the induction of Bharat Prasad Sah (Minister without portfolio), Yubraj Bhattarai (Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism), and Bechi Lungeli (Minister without portfolio). Similarly, Sharada Thapa was appointed as the Minister of State for Communications and Law.


Lungeli, who was sworn in on April 18 along with other cabinet members, officially assumed her new role as a Minister for Labor and Transport today.
