Madan Bhandari Cricket Academy comes into force

KATHMANDU, Jan 1: CPN-UML leader Subas Nembang has pledged to develop the sports sector after the formation of the left government. 


Marking the beginning of the Madan Bhandari Cricket Academy in the capital city today, Nembang said sports sector should be developed to highlight the fame of the country across the globe and support should be extended to the steps initiated from the people's level.

On the occasion, the UML leader marked the beginning of the cricket academy after batting thrice. 

Announcing Nembang as the first cricketer of the Academy, Chairman of Academy Binod Shrestha said that the Academy was started with the purpose to develop cricket.


During the event, Helping Hands Hospital's Chairman Gupta Bahadur Shrestha and Academy's Chairman Shrestha signed an agreement to provide health care services to the cricketers of Academy in 50 per cent concession from the Helping Hands Hospital. (Photo Available)
