BIRATNAGAR, Jan 4: Chairman of the Sadbhavana Party Rajendra Mahato has said that the country cannot move ahead unless the political problems are solved.

Addressing a news conference organized by the party's Morang district Chapter in Biratnagar on Wednesday, he accused the state of leaving the political problems of the Madhes unresolved since the last 10 years.

He demanded that the constitution amendment proposal should be endorsed with revisions and warned the elections would not be possible if the proposal is not passed.

Stressing on the need of delineating the provinces by splitting Madhes from the hills to give a feeling of participation in the governance to the people of the Madhes, he urged the CPN-UML to be responsible for the endorsement of the constitution amendment bill. RSS
