KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Madhesh Province government has announced a cash relief of Rs 500,000 for the family of Anand Shah, who tragically lost his life in the recent Hamas attack in Israel.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Madhesh Province government has announced a cash relief of Rs 500,000 for the family of Anand Shah, who tragically lost his life in the recent Hamas attack in Israel.


Shah, a 22-year-old resident of Sapahi-4, Laxminiya Rural Municipality in Dhanusha, had embarked on a journey to Israel on September 12 to receive training in agriculture. Unfortunately, he met with an untimely demise during the Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday.

Chief minister of Madhesh Province, Saroj Kumar Yadav, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family through an official statement on Tuesday evening. He announced that the provincial government would provide Rs 500,000  in cash relief to the family of the late Shah.


In his message, Chief Minister Yadav expressed profound sympathy and solidarity with the Shah family during this difficult time. He extended his wishes for eternal peace to the departed soul of Shah who lost his life only 26 days after arriving in Israel.


Chief Minister Yadav also expressed his condolences to the families of all 10 Nepali youths who tragically lost their lives in the same attack. He strongly condemned the senseless and inhumane act of Hamas, emphasizing that the attack had targeted unarmed and innocent individuals who were not party to the conflict.


He stated, "The dreams of 10 families have been shattered by this attack. The Nepali community mourns this tragic incident. Offering my deepest condolences to the youth who left us prematurely, I pray that the affected families find the strength to endure the unbearable pain and suffering caused by this heartbreaking tragedy."
