KAILALI, Oct 9: The Sudurpaschim Province government has decided to provide Rs 200,000 each in cash relief for the families of the Nepalis killed in Hamas attacks on Israel.

KAILALI, Oct 9: The Sudurpaschim Province government has decided to provide Rs 200,000 each in cash relief for the families of the Nepalis killed in Hamas attacks on Israel.


In a statement issued today, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah announced that the provincial government would provide support to the families of the Nepalis from the province who died in the attacks. He also offered his condolences to the bereaved families. Expressing sorrow over the incident, Chief Minister Shah requested the governments of both countries to carry out search and rescue efforts, and help bring the bodies back to Nepal.

As many as 10 Nepali students have been confirmed dead in the attacks by Hamas in Kibbutz Alumim in the war zone of Negev in Israel. The students from Sudurpaschim University had gone to Israel for studies as part of the Learn and Earn Program of the Israeli government.
