It has been arranged that devotees can walk to the major entrance of the Temple from major three entrances – Pingalasthan, (southern gate via four shivalayas), (western gate via Jayabageshwari-Bhuwaneshwor) and Mitrapark via Umakunda-Basuki Temple.

It is expected that around 1.2 million to 1.3 million devotees may have visited Pashupatinath Temple on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri this year.
