Organizing a press meet at the Madhesh Media House on Tuesday, Anuragi Films Private Limited released the banner of ‘Madhesi Putra-2’. Enthused by the movie’s unprecedented monetary return and popularity in Madhesh, the directors came up with the idea of a sequel.

Suchitra Shrestha — chairperson of Directors Society — and chief guest at the press meet, expressed hope that ‘Madhesi Putra-2’ would depict socio-political issues of Madhesh and the rest of the country alike. Writer and co-direcotor of ‘Madhesi Putra-2’ Nirajan Meheta (Manjit) took the opportunity to explain the plot upon which the movie would be based.

Director Udit Narayan Shah (Arun), action director NB Maharjan, director Janak Raj Khakurel, musician Kamal Mandal and youth politician Pravin Labh were also present at the program organized by Dev Meheta.
