Man admits to killing wife

PARASI, Jan 4:  The husband of Kamala Chaudhary of Bardghat municipality-2 in west Nawalparasi has admitted that he had murdered her.

PARASI, Jan 4:  The husband of Kamala Chaudhary of Bardghat municipality-2 in west Nawalparasi has admitted that he had murdered her. 


The 21-year-old Kamala had been missing since December 19 and her body was found in the jungle on January 1.


District Police Office's Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Bhatta said the husband admitted to killing his spouse for mutual misunderstanding. The recovery of her body led the police investigation into the case. 

Investigations into the case have not been over and the accused will be tried under a murder case.

A group of locals who had been in the jungle to collect fodder and firewood saw the woman's dead body and informed about it to the police. 


One dead in motorcycle accident 


Meanwhile, Bishal Gurung, 35, of Sidhharthanagar municipality in Rupandehi died after his motorcyclist met with an accident near the Jyamire forest in Sunwal municipality. 


According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred as the driver lost control of his motorcycle all of a sudden. 


He, left severely injured in the accident, died in course of treatment at the
