Man, who was absconding after killing his own son, arrested

SURKHET, Jan 18: Nayaram Buda of Panchapuri Municipality-6 of Surkhet, who had fled to India after killing his own son, has been arrested by the police. A joint team of Karnali Province Police Office and District Police Office, Surkhet, arrested him from Tikapur in Kailali at around 9 AM today.

SURKHET, Jan 18: Nayaram Buda of Panchapuri Municipality-6 of Surkhet, who had fled to India after killing his own son, has been arrested by the police. A joint team of Karnali Province Police Office and District Police Office, Surkhet, arrested him from Tikapur in Kailali at around 9 AM today.


Nayaram Buda of Kuwapani, Panchapuri Municipality-6 killed his 18-year-old son Bharat Buda near his house on Monday night. During his initial statement given to the police, Nayaram admitted to have killed his son.

Police Inspector Buddhi Subedi from the Central Police Office, Karnali Province Police Office, Surkhet, deployed a team including Tekraj Parajuli and Navin Yogi under the command of Senior Sub Inspector Narayan Sharma, while the District Police Office deployed Police Head Constable Tikaram Acharya.


According to police sources, Nayaram, who was absconding in India, was caught near Lamkipur of Tikapur Municipality-1 in Kailali. During the initial statement, Nayaram said that his son had filed a police report against him and threatened to kill him.
