JANAKPURDHAM, May 23: Maoist Center has decided to quit the government in Madhesh province as preparations are underway to expand the cabinet.
According to Bharat Shah, the Parliamentary Party (PP) leader of the Maoist Center, a meeting of the Maoist Parliamentary Party held on Tuesday decided to withdraw from the provincial government.

The Maoist Center has decided to withdraw from the government alleging that Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav violated the agreement reached between the top leaders of the ruling coalition.
Shah said that even though there was an agreement in Kathmandu that Maoists and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) would get two ministries each, JSP was forced to leave the government because they refused to give ministries as per the agreement in the provincial assembly.
The meeting also decided to recall Sunita Yadav, who became the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Forestry from the Maoist Center. Now, the top leaders of Janamat, LSP and Maoists are holding a meeting to resolve the differences.
