Maoist Center withdraws support to Madhesh govt, two ministers resign

KATHMANDU, May 12: The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw its support to the Madhesh Province government. Two leaders of the CPN (Maoist Center) stepped down from the posts of provincial ministers following the instruction from the party on Sunday.


Ministers Bharat Kumar Sah and Yubraj Bhattarai, who were part of the provincial government, tendered their resignation to Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav on Sunday.

Bharat Kumar Sah, who served as the Minister for Forest and Environment, and Yubraj Bhattarai, Minister for Industry and Tourism, stepped down from their respective positions as per the party’s decision.
