Maoist Center's Narayan Burjamagar wins in Udaipur 2 (a)

UDAYAPUR,Nov 23: Narayan Burjamagar of the Maoist Center has won the election to the membership of provincial assembly from the constituency Udayapur-2 (a). According to the final results, the ruling coalition candidate Burjamagar won after securing 8,105 votes.

UDAYAPUR,Nov 23: Narayan Burjamagar of the Maoist Center has won the election to the membership of provincial assembly from the constituency Udayapur-2 (a). According to the final results, the ruling coalition candidate Burjamagar won after securing 8,105 votes.


His closest rival, Devraj Rai of the UML, got 8,070 votes.

The result of provincial assembly (b) is set to come as soon as the counting of votes which started from Wednesday evening concludes. 


According to Bhattarai, the result of provincial assembly (b) is expected to be announced within half an hour. Ramkumar Khatri of Nepali Congress who was a common candidate of the ruling alliance has got 6,302 votes and is leading in the vote count, while Jeevanath Dahal of the CPN-UML is trailing behind him with 5,123 votes.
