Maoist Center withdraws support extended to Lumbini Province govt

KATHMANDU, March 6: The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw its support extended to the Lumbini Province government.

KATHMANDU, March 6: The CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw its support extended to the Lumbini Province government.


In Lumbini Provincial Assembly the Maoist Center has  11 members, including the Speaker. The Maoists have officially informed the provincial assembly of their decision to withdraw the support earlier extended to the government.

Provincial Parliamentary Party Leader Jokh Bahadur Mahara and Chief Whip Indrajit Chaudhary have communicated to the Lumbini Provincial Assembly that they no longer support the government.


Earlier, Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary had dismissed two ministers who represented the Maoist Center.
