Putting forth their views on the political report presented by party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on the second day of the meeting of the central committee taking place in Kathmandu, the central committee members stressed the need for electing the party's office-bearers immediately, launching a special campaign to find the reason behind party's weak performance in urban areas and determine clear roadmap to run the party.
Similarly, mobilizing party committees under leadership of central committee members in all 753 local units to improve the organizational condition of the party and moving ahead standing on its own rather than forming alliances were also discussed during the meeting.

The members pointed out the need of taking action against those betraying the party in recently held local-level election, adding that the party would face more losses if action against those betraying the party is not taken.
Chairman Dahal had presented a 10-page political report in today's meeting. Nine proposals have been presented for discussion.
Though the CPN (Maoist Center) became honest while making an electoral alliance in local-level election, the Nepali Congress carried out activities only for its benefit, the central committee members said while drawing attention of the leadership to think over it in coming days.
