MCC crucial for country’s development: Govt Spokesperson Karki

MORANG, August 28: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has expressed confidence that MCC would be endorsed after holding discussions with political parties, adding that MCC as a development project is necessary for the country.

MORANG, August 28: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has expressed confidence that MCC would be endorsed after holding discussions with political parties, adding that MCC as a development project is necessary for the country.


Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, Minister Karki, who is also the government’s spokesperson, also clarified that the Cabinet would get full shape after holding discussion with other political parties.

According to Karki, talks are underway with other parties to get them into government for the sake of political stability and sustainable development. 


Karki further shared that discussions would be held on the ordinance relating to political parties in the upcoming parliamentary session as it was earlier introduced as per the necessity and compulsion.  


Replying to a query, he said ward-level convention of the Nepali Congress would be held on September 3.
